Explore TCA’s 2025 State Association of the Year Application

Industry News,

The Tennessee Concrete Association is excited to share that we’ve officially submitted our application for the National Ready Mixed Concrete Association’s (NRMCA) 2025 State Association of the Year Award. As in prior years, we built a dedicated webpage to highlight the work we accomplished across 2025—and we invite you to explore it.

This site showcases how TCA delivered member value through innovation, workforce development, education, and long-term organizational strength. Highlights include:

  • Skate4Concrete Competition: Expanded the statewide Mini Concrete Skatepark Competition by hosting it at MTSU and integrating the event with the Concrete Industry Management (CIM) Program, creating a stronger pathway from classroom learning to industry careers.

  • Workforce Development: Continued growth of Concrete Quest, launched the Concrete Disk Competition (including a pilot at Beech High School and a statewide competition now underway), and sustained a full year of Driver Dash to support driver recognition and retention.

  • Innovation & Member Support: Launched TC.Ai, TCA’s on-demand AI assistant, built on trusted TCA resources (and approved public research content from the Concrete Advancement Foundation) to help members and the public find accurate, Tennessee-specific answers faster.

We’re proud of the progress made in 2025—and grateful for the support of our members, partners, and volunteers who make this work possible. Visit the application webpage to explore the full story and celebrate these accomplishments with us.
