ACI HAS SEPARATED THE ASTM AND THE AASHTO TEST METHODS INTO SEPARATE PROGRAMS.  THIS EVENT IS FOR THE AASHTO VERSION ONLY.  IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN THE ASTM VERSION YOU WILL NEED TO REGISTER FOR A DIFFERENT EVENT WHERE THE ASTM VERSION IS OFFERED.  IF YOU CANNOT FIND AN ASTM EVENT POSTING CONTACT OUR OFFICE.  YOU CAN GET CERTIFIED FOR BOTH PROGRAMS BY FIRST GETTING CERTIFIED IN EITHER ASTM OR AASHTO AND THEN PASSING THE WRITTEN EXAM FOR THE OTHER PROGRAM WITHIN ONE YEAR OF CERTIFICATION.  IF YOU NEED A WRITTEN OR PERFORMANCE RETEST FOR THE OLD DISCONTINUED PROGRAM THAT COVERED BOTH ASTM AND AASHTO METHODS PLEASE CONTACT OUR OFFICE TO SCHEDULE AN EXAM.

The Exam Session will begin promptly at 7:00am. Attendees should plan to arrive at least 15 minutes early for check-in.  The posted end time is approximate.  Actual end time will be dependent on the number of persons taking the performance exam and the preparedness of the examinee.

The two-hour written examination is open-book and consists of approximately 75 multiple choice questions.

The performance examination is closed-book and requires actual demonstration of the required standards.

                      Certification Program Description

CANCELLATION POLICY:
  • Substitutions allowed with prior permission from TCA office.
  • No Show - a student who does not attend exam day. No refund.
  • No refunds on shipped workbooks
  • Cancellations (Prior notice provided to TCA)
    • $100 Cancellation Fee
    • In addition to the cancellation fee, an additional $110 will be retained if a workbook was provided)
  • Reschedule/Change of Date
    • $50 Reschedule Fee if notice received more than 3 weeks prior to exam
    • $100 Reschedule Fee if requests received within 3 weeks of the exam
