Roller Compacted Concrete (RCC) has been used for many years in dams, heavy-duty paving and parking areas, and as a base for conventional pavement. It is a dry mix, therefore it has no slump, and can be constructed without forms or joints making it easy to place and open for use. RCC, when used for pavement, is placed with a conventional or high-density paver and is a great option for industrial, heavy-duty pavement because it's ease of placement. With it's low initial costs, as well as low life-cycle maintance combined with it's strength and durability, RCC is another concrete pavement owner's shoudl consider when paving.
